JAEnuary 2010 closing ceremony. XD

warning: this will be a long post. :)

So what's special about January? Well, on a personal note, January is my birth month so you can't blame me to be excited whenever the month of January hits the calendar. But, well, my 2010 birthday is actually special compared to my last year's. Details later. :D

The last week of January was total happiness. here's the reasons.

• January 26

to cassies, the first thing that might come to their minds when they see this date is Jaejoong's birthday. But for my family and friends, the first thing that will come on their mind is me. January 26 happens to be my birthday as well. what a lovely coincidence. :)

When I first knew of TVXQ, the person who caught much of my attention was of the visual shocker Jaejoong. Jaejoong has this another-guy-prettier-than-a-girl aura like Hyde of L'arc~en~ciel. I really find them similar often times. Since i love Hyde, it can also be concluded that I love Jae. xD

Aside from jae and i having the same birthday, i found out that we also have same likes. First is his love for cross accessories. I've long been a cross-accessory freak. I know that other Dong Bang members also wear such accessories. But he also use this kind of accessories:

see the pendant? it's a skull pendant. When i saw that i said 'i want the pendant!' yes. The pendant caught my eyes first before i was bedazzled by jae's pic. He likes skull and cross accessories. I love them. well here's a proof. XD

i can'ts find my pendant it's actually a design of skull-cross combination. I found on yesasia an earring labeled as jaejoong-inspired. it's also a combi of the skull and cross. If i get a job i'll buy that. XD Another simple similarity is his love for the color black. Look at my page. I love it being like that. Simply black. :D

Since it is Jae's birthday, we celebrated it through twitter. We made #happybdayjaejoong a trending topic on that day. This was the fun part. People behind the trending project set a uniform time for the trending. 6 pm KST. But when January 26 12 am KST hit the clock, people cant wait to wish him a happy birthday, and without any plans of doing so, as early at that time, #happybdayjaejoong became a trending topic. :D It was also my birthday that day but after school instead of heading straight home, i stopped somewhere to be able to join the trending. It felt weird. Everyone was wishing him a happy birthday and it was also my birthday so it felt that people were also greeting me. *haha. really weird. XD* I believe that i'm not the only cassie who has the same birthday as jae, so to all of us, belated happy birthday, and we're really blessed right? :D

Even before, i have always been looking for someone 'great' who has the same bithday as me. I thought, it would have feel good if you know that some great person is celebrating his/her birthday same day like you. And now the search is over. :)

*note: jan 26 is his registered birthday by the parents who adopted him. his real birthday is somewhere in february. :)*

• January 27

January 27, to all cassies is a day to celebrate since the new single 'Break Out!' of Tohoshinki was released this day. to commemorate this, we again, made a TT on twitter: #tvxqbreakout. This was actually tiring. Trending two topics in two consecutive days. but all for the boys. :)

I'm not sure with the numbers, but approximately 170k copies of the single were sold on the first day. Those that was preordered was not yet included. I can really see the success of the 500k copies project. And i can't wait until i get my own copy. :)

L'arc~en~ciel, who has been in a long hiatus also released a new single this day. If only i had the money, i would have ordered their single as well. I love L'arc~en~ciel. They are my first love band. But oh well, i think they already got the limelight of their career. They already celebrated their 15th anniversary, so compared to them, Tohoshinki is just at the beginning of their career. So despite the fact that THSK beat L'arc on the charts, i'm happy with it. :)

• January 29

there are two things that made me happy this day. First is that this was Hyde's birthday. We planned to make a TT. But we just can't equal the force of Kpop enthusiasts. When it comes to TT, they rule out twitter- i mean WE. xD but we tried. It was fun knowing that there are many others who still continue to love L'arc and Hyde and Vamps. specially indonesians. I saw many L'arc/ Hyde indonesian fans. :)

Hey Hyde, you've turned one year older again. But don't worry. You still look as astonishing as ever. And vampires don't grow old... right Kei? :D Belated Happy birthday. ^^

The second thing to celebrate was that our local record bars released the much anticipated Mirotic ver. C cd. My class ends at around 4pm. I left school around 5:30 and went directly to a record bar and bought the cd. Those boys are really getting so much percentage of my savings. but i'm not really complaining. :D

the cd that made me broke. I love the photos inside. dazzling dong bang guys. XD

i totally forgot about xiahzart. sorry! i know it was also on this week when xiah junsu showed his theatrical talent as mozart. I'm not sure whether it was jan.26 or jan.27 though. we also planned on making #xiahzart a TT - not sure whether we made it. I wasn't able to participate with it fully. I was already exhausted of trending topics that time. :D

So there. Now that january is coming to an end, the things that happened will now become part of history. and a memory that i will always treasure. So this blog post is also my way of keeping these memories safe and saved. So when i grow a year older again, i'll look at this and bring back again the feeling of how happy i was these days. :)

park yoochun's greatest influence on me... :)

I was ransacking my school bag because I was looking for stuffs. Then I saw a note. I opened it and smiled. :) When I really don't feel like listening to my professor, I tend to write anything that I want. Sometimes a letter, a journal,... anything that comes in my mind. And that time all I've written was this...

I bet I wrote this when the break up rumors were in uproar. That's why I wrote it endlessly. And as I read my handouts and lectures, I noticed, instead of writing my name on it, i write 'always keep the faith'. This is the greatest influence park yoochun have done to me up to date. :)

When I read that 'let's not forget the beautiful memories'...I felt...sad...yes. honestly I was sad. Really. The 'bye bye' thing was a little bit justified saying it was addressed to 2009. But that phrase...seems to have a deeper meaning. On a personal note, when someone shows me a circle, everybody may see it as a circle, but i'll look at it differently. I hate me who thinks too deep on things. And this is one of the many instances...

Doubts, doubts, doubts. I have been doubtful on many things (not just TVXQ related things) recently. And suddenly, a bookstore sent me a message. :)

I was with my friend a while ago and we went to this bookstore. She said that her friend told her about this Stephenie Meyer's book about aliens invading the world...and while browsing for it she saw one of Mitch Albom's work and told me that he has a new book. I just stayed on one book rack and she went on the one behind. When she got back, she already had Mitch Albom's latest book in her hand... and the title of the book? :)

Coincidence? Maybe. But I believe everything has a reason and this is a way of telling me that I should never lose hope, no matter how little hope there is. Whatever i'm feeling now, whether it's about TVXQ or just something personal, i will always keep the faith...always. And this goes for everyone as well...have faith. :)

Before, I didn't even visited my twitter page-- I just made it and leave it. But now I visit it more often. I thought it was just because of my kpop addiction but I realized that it was also because of my newly found acquaintances. I think that is mostly thanks to #tvxq (a hashtag?! :p)

I am actually happy because majority of people whom i've known on twitter was mostly because of tvxq. they really brought many new's to me. ^^

it's really unlikely for me to do this kind of stuffs. but i guess i've also began loving twitter not just because of my kpop addiction but because of all of you as well. My classes will soon start again and i may not often visit my twitter anymore... I'll miss reading your updates. and i'll miss updating mine as well... (but i promise i'll be here on the 26th. my first post for 2010 is dedicated to the five of you: jaejoong, yunho, yoochun, junsu and changmin. :)

August 20, 2009 was the exact date when I noticed the FIVE of you. I'm an avid fan of Hwangbo Hyejung, thus i've already seen yoochun and yunho on x-man. But on that date for the first time i've watched one of your mv's: MIROTIC -- perfect to hypnotize me until no one knows. :)

Want to hear some history? i promise this will be brief. :)

I'm a good stalker of jpopasia.com yup. I am an original jpop lover and jrock as well. Because of Hwangbo, I did a bit of research to the boys being linked on her in X-man thus i made a research on yoochun and yunho. I knew that you two are from the band Dong Bang Shin Ki but after reading it, your band DIDN'T interest me that much. So from there, I knew that you two (yoochun and yunho) are from a KOREAN band. So when i visited jpopasia and saw your familiar faces, i thought "why are these guys listed on JPOP list here?" I was actually slightly pissed. Yup. I actually hated it that wherever I go, there's always something to link on you. Why are you guys EVERYWHERE? even on youtube, your stand by u MV is featured and I didn't have the interest to click it and watch it. I don't pass for a fan right? :) My acquaintance on you was not love at first sight rather it was LOVE IN THE MAKING. I first resent it but then my curiosity got into me and BOOM! If before I hated that you are everywhere now I'm craving for your interviews, variety shows, concerts, MV's, PV'S... I crave everything about you.

And as my friends tell me, I was a loyal jpop lover when suddenly dramas, its cool ost's and variety shows 'migrated' me to korea. But now that i've known you, i can go back and forth to japan and korea. I told you I did a bit of research right? So I've known that you dominated the korean stage and also worked very hard to be well known in Japan as Japanese band. I was confused at first... "why do they have three names?!" Dong Bang Shin Ki, Tong Vfang Xien Qi and Tohoshinki. And as my research got intense, I finally understood why. I guess i'm really follow some great boy band right? :)

But hey don't expect that i easily fall for boy bands. I told you I am also a jrock lover. I much prefer guys hitting the drums and banging the guitar rocking than boys who just sing and dance. But you know what made me love you? your acapellas. YOU HAVE THE VOICES OF ANGELS WHEN YOU SING YOUR ACAPELLAS. Yes. That statement is emphasized-- in bold and in capslock. I am not saying this because i'm your fan now. I have good ears in music. And you produce one of the musics my ears love. The harmony between the five of you is not always perfect by they always FIT. When the FIVE of you sing together, I just can't help but listen... and listen all over again.

You don't know how ___________ (insert a word superlative to anxious, mad, furious) I was when I heard of the lawsuit news. And then the disbandment rumors. You really don't know how those news hurt a new fan like me who had just followed you recently. It was maddening. Why?! Why now?! Everyday I looked for updates about the case, improvements, settlements, but no good. Until i've heard no news at all. IT WAS TOO MUCH TO BARE. Thanks to these twoonetvxqforums and dbsknights for sustaining my needs. Thanks to you I found new friends, new acquaintance. You gave me more new's before my 2009 ends. Thank You. :)

Now that 2009 is over, the case isn't settled yet. And no one knows if 2010 will be better. Honestly, I'm keeping my faith but I'm afraid. If what I believe will not happen it will definitely crush my heart. Exaggerated as it may sound but yes, that will be my exact feeling when the worst happens. I can only believe on what I WANT TO BELIEVE. but in reality, only the five of you can fulfill what we are all asking for. I know that good things come to an end, but good things must also have a good end. And ending EVERYTHING this way is not a good thing. I know that you know that YOU STILL HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO. (you still need to learn english to be able to read this letter. haha.) Well of course learning english is one of the nice thing to do in 2010. Have you heard of our trending topic event on your 6th anniversary on twitter? International Fans really worked hard on it. And we can always do it for your 7th, 8th, nth... until that goodbye arrives and we can all bid farewell smiling and say 'until we meet again'. That scenario doesn't fit now yet. You know that.

Though i'm afraid, I will still keep my faith on you. Recent video clips and news have brought me to doubt but i will close my eyes on it and just believe with all of my heart -- that YOU will continue to be together as FIVE- enjoying each other's company, harmonizing in every song that you sing.
