H.P

Before when I see or hear the acronym H.P the first thing that comes into my mind is Harry Potter. Now it's different, thanks to Jaejoong and all the people behind the film Heaven's Postman. :)

When video clips popped out of youtube I was so desperate to see the whole thing. But since the movie has just been recently showed in Korea, I didn't put my hopes up. I just told myself that "when the raw file comes up, i will definitely get the chance to watch it--since i believe on TVXQ fans who'd sub it". And this day my hopes came true, and I just finished watching the film 15 minutes ago.

The fact that Jaejoong casted on the film made the movie be anticipated by many. There are times that a movie seems to be a good movie because of the casts acting on it-- though the plot is not so interesting. But Heaven's Postman is different. From the scriptwriter to the casts, it's definitely a masterpiece. This post is my 'thank you' to everyone who made way for me to be able to watch such masterpiece. :)

***warning: spoiler awaits. to appreciate Heaven's Postman as much as I appreciate it now, Please watch the film first. :) Heaven's Postman Video Link***

  • First on my list is Eriko Kitagawa. When I appreciate things, it's not just the product- but also the maker. And IfIi'm not mistaken Kitagawa is the mother of the plot of Heaven's Postman thus I thank her for giving birth to Heaven's Postman. If I was reading the story in a novel, as the story continues, i would have expected what would happen. But then suddenly the flow of story shifts. When Jaejoong's task as a postman is done, I thought that it was his ticket to heaven and that he would finally be able to enter heaven. He's a ghost--like a lost soul. so what do you expect when he's done with his unfinished business on earth? But then the "manager's" reply to him was "You can now go back as human" I was also shocked like Jaejoong when I heard that. And I also asked the same questions. It was like you're already expecting to be sad, preparing yourself for the melancholic moment, and boom! It turns out to be very different from what you expect-- and i liked it. She is really the goddess of love stories. Not just because she writes good plots but because she knows where to put the 'romantic ingredient' at the best time. When Hana and Jejung met again, I thought the consequence was that Jejung will forget everything- another fail expectation. He remembered everything that's why when they met again, I thought "oh love. it's really nice." :) Kudos to Eriko Kitagawa. I'll think I'll also be watching some of her other works. Congratulations to her, she gained a new fan. :)

  • The music director. I wouldn't feel very attached to the story if the background music is not so effective but it is. That background playing every time the story is in a sad scene can really make you cry. I am so anticipating for the other OST's as well. :)

  • The casts. Han Hyo Joo proved herself yet again for this film. I have watched some of her dramas and she never fail to amaze me. When she was crying out loud when Jejung disappeared I felt like crying too. She looks stubborn but I felt that I would also be doing the same when I lost someone important to me. And of course Kim Jaejoong. Of course it still lacks for Oscar's best actor criteria but for me he was perfect for the role. The heaven's postman's identity has not been revealed until the end of the story. He was a mystery to the viewers which makes you want to watch more to unlock that mystery. And I on a personal note, thinks that Jaejoong himself is mysterious. Yes he's public still very mysterious from the inside. And when he acts, even without saying a word, he really captures the heart of the audience just by his expressions. And I guess that deserves a recognition. He should make acting as his part-time job.--because singing with TVXQ will always be his mainstream. :)

  • last to thank are the people who made it possible for me to watch and understand the film. To the person who recorded the video on its screening thanks a lot. Its hard to do it without getting caught. And you managed to do it 'til the end. *hands down* thank you. To the team who subbed and shared it to everyone-- we can't thank you enough. Your blog post has already been flooded with many thank you's. This is such a wonderful Christmas gift. Thanks again. :)

This is quite a long post so I don't know if any one's gonna read it. but anyway. I was smiling the whole time I'm writing this so it's okay. :)

school-related-ft-tvxq

As my Christmas vacation starts, the 2009 part of my school year is officially over. As a tribute I'll post here a school-related-ft-tvxq post. :p

The subject is Philosophical Analysis and the topic is about Egocentric Tendencies. I really find this subject boring but the ideas with TVXQ that popped in my mind in lieu with the topic made it very interesting. Thanks to them, i won't be having a hard time remembering the terms. :p

I'll just post some of the Egocentric Tendencies, its brief definition and the examples or application. :)

***notice that the topic is about EGOcentric tendencies. Thus i just based the following examples thinking that I have that egocentric tendency. It doesn't mean that i, as myself, believe those examples. Just to be clear. :)***

  • Egocentric Myopia - the natural tendency to think absolutely within an overly narrow point of view.
" Bigeastation is already ending and the 4th Bigeast Fanmeeting got cancelled-- it's all AVEX's fault."
  • Egocentric Infallibility - the natural tendency to think that our beliefs are true because we believe them.
" I believe that TVXQ will not disband because Jaejoong, Yoochun, Yunho, Changmin and Junsu will stay together forever."
  • Egocentric Righteousness - the natural tendency to feel superior in the light of our confidence that we are in the possession of THE TRUTH.
" With the lawsuit filed to SM Entertainment they still believe that there was nothing wrong with their management of their artists."
  • Egocentric Oversimplification - the natural tendency to ignore real and important complexities in the world in favor of simplistic notions when consideration of those complexities would require us to modify our beliefs or values.
" Change the contract between TVXQ and SM Entertainment and everything will go well."
" If Yunho and Changmin will join the filing of lawsuit against SM Entertainment the better."
  • Egocentric Blindness - the natural tendency not to notice facts or evidence that contradict our favored beliefs or values.
SM Entertainment: "We are ALWAYS right. What we DO and what we SAY are ALWAYS and ABSOLUTELY right and true."
  • Egocentric Immediacy - the natural tendency to over-generalize immediate feelings and experiences--so that when one event in our life is highly favorable or unfavorable, all of life seems favorable or unfavorable as well.
" Jaejoong, Yoochun and Junsu filed a lawsuit against SM Entertainment. Because of this their activities in Korea got frozen and their Japan activities are also slightly being affected. Therefore there is no future for TVXQ anymore."
  • Egocentric Absurdity - the natural tendency to fail to notice thinking that has "absurd" consequences, when noticing them would force us to rethink our position.
" SM Entertainment realize that they indeed made a mistake in the past but because it is already hard for now to revert what has been done, they just decide to continue to stand on their wrong beliefs."

***

Now you know what i meant with school-related-ft-tvxq post. Please please be reminded that the only facts posted on this post are the egocentric tendencies and their definitions. The examples given is not exactly true nor considered as facts.

HELLO CHRISTMAS VACATION! :D

smile again.

12.12 was a memorable day for those who were lucky to be able to attend the Smile Again Fanmeeting of Jaejoong, Junsu and Yoochun.

When this fan meeting was first announced, i had a bad impression on it. Maybe because it was just between the three- without Yunho and Changmin. But i guess i was just being greedy. Of the situations that they are in I have to understand. I have to accept that these things are necessary - as of the moment. And my greediness would be granted in time so i'll just have to wait patiently.

I wasn't able to check updates yesterday. I was busy sleeping and the computer is not very much available (with my mom, my brother, my brother's friends and my cousin as my rivals.) Updates like fancams, videos, audios, pictures and many more have been posted about the event. But the most that I've loved is this fan account straight from someone who have experienced the event first hand.

The videos and fancams still don't have translations on it thus her fan account is a huge help to understand the happenings on the event. She managed to put it up in a very detailed way. *applause* After the fan account are comments of people who have read it. *here we go again with the comments* I don't know why i take the burden to read other's comments when all i have to do is just read the post, comment on it if want to and leave the page. Do i love to read that much?

From what i have read they were sorry for changmin and yunho. I can't say that i'm not. But sometimes these thoughts kind of "separate" the five. Since the three made a fan meeting, should the two make one too? And while reading some of the not-so-dbsk-biased-comment it felt that the fanmeeting was like an assurance the three are going on a different path from the two-ABSURD.

you can't expect these five people to just throw away what they had for the past 6 years; and i am not talking about the fame and popularity. They live together, eat together, sleep together and had done many things together- happily. With this in mind, my mentality can't really accept thought such as these five have grown gaps between them because of the current situation. Of course I can't be 100% sure but because I have put my faith in these guys i am able to say such things.

Let's not forget that generally, we are part of the 'show' but specifically, we are not. We cannot be the directors to tell them what to do, and we can neither be scriptwriters to know what they have to say. We are just the audience and they are the main cast. Behind curtains, only THEY know what is really happening. So let's be a good audience- wait patiently, with a positive attitude until the whole 'show' is over.

always keep the faith. DBSK5FOREVER. :)

this-band-meant...

i know i need not to remind the loyal followers of DBSK/TVXQ/Tohoshinki of their current situation right now. But for those who doesn't know, jaejoong, junsu and yoochun filed a lawsuit onSM entertainment. I won't elaborate any longer, since talking about it causes a mental torture. The latest effect of this lawsuit is the cancellation of their Bigeast Fan meeting early next year. and because of these unstoppable series of unfortunate events, more people are now expecting disbandment of this group.

there are lots of blog sites serving people with the current news about this band. good or bad news, anyone is entitled to their own opinion about the news. you can freely comment on it. in the perspective of those who have not liked them that much, mentioning disbandment is easy. i do not refrain those with these kind of thought but can't they just be a little considerate? here we are, trying so hard to think positively, trying so hard to believe on a better outcome, and there they are bashing

"why don't they just disband?!"

That is really mean. Forget DBSK. If for instance, the 'disbandment' pertains to your group of friends, who've been with you for years, friends who have supported you every now and then, would you be happy if everyone is talking about your 'disbandment'? Please be considerate people. I know this is too much to ask, but if you can't say anything good to them, why don't you just leave the comment box blank?

I'm starting to have grudge just by seeing the word. Why did that word even existed? What's frustrating about that word is that it pertains to something permanent- that when it happens, you cannot bring them back together anymore. That is why i hate it so much. It's much nicer to believe that they're just in hiatus - a very long hiatus. because no matter how long, we know that they will definitely come back.

this band meant to continue to move on. That is why even in the hardest times they are still trying to hold on. this band meant so much to Cassiopeia, Bigeast and all their international fans and they still mean so much to us. So whatever others say, we will always keep the faith.

i don't like blogs. but why do i need one?

i need to have an output for my thoughts. and this is a perfect place. right now i don't know how long will my enthusiasm last for this blogging-thing. but whatever. i'll do it anyway.
